In the middle of nowhere

a house sits

Solitary & Dark

blocking the hills

Mysterious as the

puddle of water out

back

Secluded & Isolated

by all

even the Sun itself

by: Rachel T.

Above the clouds

Dipping in uncharted space

Free, empty, wispy,

Alien, deserted in sunshine

Why one house?

by: Michael L.

Hiding

in the wind

darkening among the meadows

deserted beyond the tall grass

ageing shadow in front

old and wise house

lonely rolling hills

Abandoned

by: Alex N.

Away from urban life

between the hills

the ageing spotty-white house

In growing tall grass,

dirty, yellow grasses,

under the white spotty clouds

In the middle of nowhere

ageing, blowing, growing —

the way it’s meant to.

by: William F.
